Thanks for your interest in The Clarion Handy Tools, an awesome collection of productivity enhancements for Clarion developers. These tools consist of an ever-expanding set of Clarion Templates and OOP Classes that extend or complement the normal functionality of the Clarion Application Development System from SoftVelocity.

By design, the Clarion Application Development System is capable of doing considerably more than is provided for in the default ABC templates and ABC classes supplied with the product. Since we are independent software developers ourselves, using Clarion since 1984, we've taken the time, where necessary, to extend many of Clarion's standard capabilities. The continuing development of Clarion from version 6 to 6.1/6.2/6.3 has provided us with a wealth of new extension possibilities. CHT code libraries have already achieved 100 percent code compatibility with the beta version of Clarion 7 and we're working hard porting our numerous class libraries (with .NET extras) to Clarion# For .NET for delivery as .NET assemblies. We're also making those .NET assemblies backward compatible with Clarion 6 and 7 so that CHT users can leverage .NET via COM interop, right in their existing C6 and C7 applications.

The Clarion Handy Tools represent some of our extension work. The heart of The Clarion Handy Tools is a set of classes that can be easily latched into your Clarion ABC applications by a variety of Clarion Handy Tools Templates. Our 130+ Source Code Libraries and 325+ templates developed over the last 12 years of continuous advancement, contain well in excess of 11,000 methods organized into an integrated framework to provide a wide range of function.
